Who are we?
Brian Ritter grew up in a greenhouse owned and operated by his father in St. Louis. Ritter's Greenhouse served St. Louis for over 60 years and is operated today by Brian's brother Barry as Ritter Perennials. After getting his degree in Botany, Brian came to Kansas City to start Brian P. Ritter Professional Gardening.

We're green too!
Our Kansas City professional gardeners are mindful of our environment. We like to garden naturally, not with a lot of chemicals. We make our own compost, use natural slow release fertilizers and we like to use lady bugs and lacewings for insect control. Tall flowers for cutting gardens are not generally available in garden centers, so we grow our own! We also use battery-opperated trimmers and blowers to reduce noise and air pollution.
